Lost in some city
The Summer, hot on our backs
The evenings, warm as our breaths
Tales of sensuality untold
***
We roam these streets
A dress flows lightly in the breeze
A shirt falls gently on a chest
New stories unfold
***
No one dares to walk out from the bars
As drinks are coldest with friends
And the air conditioning is too tempting
Old glories not to be sold
***
But we defy the laws set by man
Or maybe by some deranged lunatic
We are looking for a place
Where our actions won’t be deemed too bold
***
The night sets above the aged stone walls
The Summer tones down its brazen mood
The evening releases a familiar perfume
Tales of sensuality untold
***
We walk silently, side-by-side
A dress tightens against a body
A shirt loosens up on another
New stories unfold
***
The bars are filled to capacity
And drinks are still as cold as they should be
But we forget the possibility of fresh manipulated air conditions
Old glories not to be sold
***
The cobblestone settles under us
I’m sure if it could experience envy, it would
Take me some place
Where our actions won’t be deemed too bold
***
The city becomes a romance unseen
Ancient lusts are fulfilled
And music fills the sleepy atmosphere
“Te quiero, mi amor.”
